I think I speak for most people when I say, debating the "best of" items is common place among friends, especially when you're just relaxing and maybe enjoying a few drinks. Debate is common place. We all formulate our own opinions on everyday subjects, and will usually go to great lengths to defend that stance. Born from hanging out with friends, enjoying a few drinks, and taking about absolutely nothing important, I present to you, Draft Day.
Draft Day is a three-person draft between myself and my two best friends. We choose one subject, and then draft items within that subject that we feel are the best. It is a four round (Mt. Rushmore style), snake draft. For those unaware of anything fantasy sports, a snake draft is designed that every other round goes in the opposite direction (i.e. last pick in one round, gets first pick in the next).
The goal of the draft is to assemble the best team of four picks, and we will put it to the people to determine who assembled the best team.

Team Recaps
Bryan | With the first overall pick, Bryan selected Oreos. Oreos are the go-to cookie for the everyday snacking, desserts, and baking. Bryan continued a theme of grocery store cookies, following up the Oreos pick with Chips Ahoy Chewy chocolate chip, Bake and Break Reese's and Keebler Chip Deluxe. |
Dan | With the second overall pick, Dan went to arguably the Girl Scout front runner, Thin Mints. Similar to Oreos, Thin Mints are extremely popular, and are also used in many recipes. Dan rounds out his draft with one of the top two chocolate chip cookie selections, the higher end Milano brand from Pepperidge Farm, and stealing E.L. Fudge one pick away from Bryan's planned final pick of the draft. |
Mike | In the third and final spot, Mike made the turned in the best one, two turn in Draft Day thus far, selecting Girl Scout Caramel Delights and Mrs. Fields chocolate chip cookies. The Mrs. Fields chocolate chip were the first chocolate chip cookies taken in the draft. Mike finished out the final turn of the draft with Snickerdoodle and Chips Ahoy Chewy Reese's selections. |

With a runaway, Dan takes his third Draft Day, remaining undefeated. Without a doubt Dan and Mike drafted the top two chocolate chip cookies in the draft, with Nestle Toll House and Mrs. Fields respectively. There was not going to be a winner in this draft that did not select one of the best chocolate chip cookies available. With the first round being Oreos, Thin Mints, and Caramel Delights, it could have been anyone's game. Ultimately Thin Mints paired with one of the top chocolate chip cookies and the "higher class" Milano was too much for Bryan and Mike to overcome. Dan with the victory, again.
